Located in the northern part of Thailand, Chiang Rai Province is home to several temples, and shares its border with Myanmar and Laos. On this tour, you will board a long-tail boat to reach Baan Ruam Mitra, ride on an elephant’s back, and visit Wat Phra Kaew Chiang Rai.
Your tour will commence with pickup from your hotel, after which you will proceed to the pier. From there, you will hop on a long-tail boat and cruise along the Mae Kok River. Reach Baan Ruam Mitra shortly, where you will get to ride on an elephant’s back while exploring the area. At around 10:45, you will go back to the town onboard a long-tail boat. Upon arrival at the town, you will engage in a trishaw ride heading to Wat Phra Kaew. The temple is not only one of the main centres of Buddhist education, but also the place where the Emerald Buddha was found. Explore the area while admiring the architectural design of the temple. Wrap your day up by heading back to the city centre, where your host will drop you off at your hotel.
